The success of the Kahle Team is built on referrals, and continuing relationships. With Sharon’s sales experience and Bill’s experience in construction and development, and as a city councilor, combining their unique skill sets in 2017 to create the Kahle Team was a natural progression.

Bill and Sharon met at the University of Colorado, Bill earned his degree in International Affairs and Political Science and Sharon earned her degree in Business and Marketing.  They moved to Whitefish in 1992 and fell in love with the beauty of the area, the people in the community and the fact that Whitefish had a little bit of grit, separating itself from other small mountain resort towns. They raised their 4 wonderful sons here, Scott is the oldest, now in medical school in the Midwest, Jack graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman with a civil engineering degree in 2020. Grant is currently attending MSU; studying finance and economics.  He also has a passion for cooking! Their youngest Cameron has a passion for golf. He is attending the United States Air Force Academy and is a top player on the Falcon’s golf team. 

The Kahle Team believes in giving back to the community by supporting many local charities including the Montana Food Bank, Whitefish Food Bank and Child Bridge, an organization that finds and equips foster families for children in need, as well as supporting many other organizations.

When they’re not busy selling your home or finding you the perfect property you will find them skiing on Big Mountain, floating local fly-water, playing golf or hiking with their two black labs. 

They serve the Flathead Valley from Eureka to Polson, focusing primarily on Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, Lakeside.

Sharon

Sharon is originally from the Chicago area with midwestern values at her core.  Sharon learned her work ethic and most importantly, that nothing else is as important as customer service, through their family-owned business.

When Sharon and her husband moved to Whitefish in 1992, she became involved in the community and worked at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course and on Big Mountain. For several years, she kept busy raising their 4 wonderful sons and was active with many school functions, the ski team on Big Mountain, the high school lacrosse and golf teams, and was a director of the Tommy Moe Youth Ski Racing Program.

Her real estate involvement began with assisting with their real estate development business. This included strategic planning, marketing advice and design consultation.

In 2010, Sharon joined RE/MAX Whitefish as a professional Realtor using her network within the community, friends and business acquaintances, she launched a successful real estate career. Consistently a top performer, she earned her broker’s license in 2016. Sharon became a broker to elevate her status in the real estate industry, and to better serve her clients.

She prides herself in exceptional customer service, extensive market knowledge and warranted contract negotiation skills.

When Sharon isn’t working on selling your home, she can be found outdoors with her family. They love boating on Whitefish Lake, golfing, backpacking in Glacier National Park, skiing on Big Mountain or out and about with their two black labs, Duke and Angus.

Bill

Bill has been involved in Whitefish real estate for 16 years. In 2005 he was an active real estate developer focusing primarily on mixed use and residential development. He joined Sharon as part of the Kahle Team at RE/MAX Whitefish as a licensed agent in 2017.

Since 2006, Bill has been involved with several boards with the City of Whitefish, including the Growth Policy steering committee, Whitefish City Council, and was Deputy Mayor. His years working closely with local municipalities gives him a unique perspective and insights into the development procedures and has leveraged this knowledge to assist and advise clients on maneuvering through the sometimes confusing and frustrating process.

Along with his passion for real estate, Bill has also been a long-time board member of the Gary Norby Junior Golf Foundation. He was head coach of the Whitefish High School Bulldog’s Golf Team. He proudly earned coach of the year honors after coaching the boys team to a state championship in 2020. Skiing is another one of his passions.

Bill has been involved with the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation since 2007. As a member of the Ski Museum Foundation for the past 6 years, he works to preserve the fascinating ski history on Big Mountain and makes sure that the story is honored and remembered.

During the summer months, he can be found fishing local waters, and enjoying time with his 4 sons and wife, Sharon, on the numerous lakes and trails in Northwest Montana.

Building a business on dedication, communication, transparency, and understanding the specific needs of his clients has resulted in the Kahle Team being the #1 team at RE/MAX Whitefish. Bill was honored in 2021 with the Phyllis Sprunger Award as the agent who showed selfless dedication, went above and beyond for the community, and also closed tons of deals!
